Time Square News(Karachi): According to reports, the head of the FIA's cybercrime department has said that Binance has assured full cooperation to the FIA in the investigation of the fraud, while Binance has nominated two cryptocurrency experts to investigative cooperation in this regard.
According to reports, the two experts nominated by the Global Crypto Exchange Binary are former employees of the US Treasury Department.
Imran Riaz, the head of the FIA's cybercrime, said that US experts at Binance had been investigating financial crimes. The Head of Cyber Crime said that according to the statement, full cooperation will be given to the FIA in the investigation of fraud.
It should be noted that billions of rupees were defrauded from Pakistanis through online applications and these online applications were linked to the global exchange of cryptocurrency.
In December, 11 mobile phone applications, on which thousands of Pakistanis were registered, were abruptly shut down by the FIA Cyber Crime Chief Imran Riaz. Thousands of Pakistanis had financed billions of rupees in these applications.
Imran Riaz says that in the beginning, applications were facilitated for trading in virtual currencies, investments in bitcoin, ethereum, dodge coins, etc., were shown through balance sheets. They also gambled on the currency.
