Times Square News (Karachi): All Pakistan CNG Association protests against gas cut off at Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) headquarters in Karachi
Protesters say that cheap gas from Sindh was forcibly transferred to expensive RLNG, promised 24 hours supply but gas has been cut off for 22 days.
According to sources, the protesters said that they did not want to meet the MD SSGC on the current situation. They said that they would talk to the Federal Minister. But no one listens.
The protestors demanded that the CNG stations in Sindh be shifted to local gas and gas be supplied while the excess amount of gas sold to the CNG sector be refunded.
According to sources, the protesters have also demanded the removal of MDSSGC while they said that the protest sit-in will continue till the demands are approved.
Besides, Ghias Paracha, leader of All Pakistan CNG Association, says that millions of people have lost their jobs due to gas cut-off.
